As Belladonna of Sadness, Carlotta Drinkewitz leverages her background as an artist to craft DJ sets that push the boundaries of emotional and musical expression. Her mixing style is a blend of diverse genres, enabling dynamic shifts and rapid transitions across various emotions and tempos. Inspired by a sentimental-intense emotional spectrum, she constructs narratives that guide listeners through a multitude of feelings, ranging from gentle nostalgia to profound darkness. BoS’s approach is characterized by an abstract and innovative sound, constantly challenging the boundaries of conventional listening experiences.
In addition to her DJ work, Carlotta is one of 2 founders of the FLINTA collective "Vitruvian Scroll", which creates a link between experimental/ ambient music and visual art.
