This chapter gravitates around Tasmanian experimental drummer Alf Jackson. Armed of his own drum kit, physicality and vision, he crafts a solo performance inspired by the natural elements, reaching peaks of otherworldly sonics.
The artist then joined Manfuoco behind the radio booth to talk about his own projects, such as “Vigil”, the first solo release, or the ventures with Julius Schwing and Oren Ambarchi.
The final part is dedicated to other adventurous takes from different contemporary acts in the field of avantgard drumming.
