Shuffle in Zion #5 w/ Didier Dlb (Mole Audio)

For this round of Shuffle in Zion, we connect the dots between vinyl culture, Berlin’s club history, and the deeper vibrations of dub and house.

Our guest is Didier Dlb, DJ, producer, lifelong record digger, and one of the founders of Mole Audio, the label he runs with Andy Martin. Collecting records since his teenage years, Didier’s musical journey has taken him from Funk, Soul, R&B and Nuyorican sounds to House, Techno and dub-infused territories.

After moving to Berlin in 1996, he became part of the city’s evolving club scene. As one half of Turmspringer, he helped shape dance floors across four continents, while his own musical path has always resisted being tied to a single genre. As he puts it, he’s simply obsessed with combining them.

In this episode, we dive into Didier’s decades of record digging, the story behind Mole Audio, and a few insider tales from Berlin’s club scene. Around the 45-minute mark, the set takes a little detour into a conversation about Didier’s musical curiosity, the art of connecting sounds, and the grooves that keep us moving across generations.
